Bar Grating is good choice for strength, safety, long-term cost and durability. It consists of a series of bearing bars, welded at various intervals to perpendicular cross bars to form a load-bearing panel. Our typical panel configuration has bearing bars with perpendicular cross bars and a 3/16″ thick piece of flat bar around the edge of the panel to create additional strength during loads.



Bar Grating Stair Treads are offered in a welded construction and is made with a nosing that is welded to the leading edge of the tread. End plates can be welded to the ends of the treads to mechanically fasten to stair stringer channels. Stair treads come in both plain and serrated styles.
